Probably not for everyone. Phasing is a bit more extreme (6 stage), adds a lot of treble and a bit of distortion, or it does on my set up. Its perfect for what I want, I put it first in chain before distortion through a clean amp. You will probably have to experiment a bit more with this with placement as it can get metallic and scratchy to the ear. Get some nice sounds from manual setting too. If you want classic warm modulation go for the small stone or similar, this is a bit more fiddly but familiar and different when you get there. Well worth the cash.

EHX Bad Stone is a good quality phase pedal
Does what I want it to do. A really good quality phaser pedal from EHX. The sound is really playful and sounds great when paired with a reverb pedal; it allows you to create a funk sound when playing faster, or a more psychedelic, relaxed underwater sound when playing slower. Understandable why Kevin Parker used it for a lot of Innerspeaker. Highly recommended.
