even if you dont like pancakes , you'll love this little one.

Good value pancake but not the sharpest
Pros + Portable pancake lens, makes carrying it around on a small body such as an 100D great + Sharp when stopped down to f/4 or so + Cheap Cons - It suffers from vignetting and some CA when wide open, more so than other similar lenses I've owned - Obviously not the fastest lens at f/2.8 but works fine for slightly tighter composed landscapes or street photography - Due to limited aperture, low light performance is very average Good portable lens if you need a pancake for your set up. Not as sharp as I’d imagined it to be?
This lens is superb but I still think digital camera lenses rely on the quality of the CCD to perform? I have an EOS 500D and the pictures were ok on it, but not as sharp as my 50mm/f1.8 by a long way. Just take care you have nothing in the way of your subject as the sensor is sensitive and will pick out anything in between to focus on instead. Otherwise a cracking piece of kit.
