The D-Link DWR-921 4G LTE Router allows you to access and share your 4G LTE or 3G mobile broadband connections. Once connected, you can transfer data, stream media and send SMS messages. You can simply insert your SIM/USIM card and share your 4G LTE or 3G Internet connection through a secure wireless network or any of the four Ethernet ports. Dual-band 4G LTE and 3G supports allow automatic 3G connection, if the 4G LTE signal strength becomes low. The additional xDSL/FTTH Ethernet WAN option gives fail-safe connectivity, if either your fixed line or mobile broadband fails.

Great Broadband Router
This D-Link 4G router is the best "sim" router I have ever used. Its easy to set up, and it results in a stronger connection with better speed than other devices in the same place using the same sim. I bought this because my other device kept switching to Edge because the signal was stronger than the 3G/4G signal on the same network, on this device you can lock it to 3G/4G/LTE which is incredibly useful for me in this location. Also, I get 4G/LTE on this router in the same location that I can only get 3G on other devices using the exact same SIM with the same settings. The control panel is easy to access and use. I have always found D-link network products to be good, this is no exception. I am very happy with this product,

Bought to use with omni directional external 4G/3G antenna.
The only broadband I can receive at home is mobile through O2. I bought this router and an external antenna in the hope that it would be better than my tethered iPhone but it didn't come close to the phone - very disappointed.

Great bit of kit
D link stuff is always nicely made and I’m amazed that I’m getting fibre speed now off my phone sim basically (49mbs) great solution if u are in a 4G area but only have old fashioned copper line broadband, normal broadband in my area is 3-4 mbs and poor. My only negative comment would be it wasn’t plug and play just chucking the sim in , you have to connect the router to your laptop and authorise it first via the D link address

Great 3g/4g LTE Router
Fitted a SIM card and it worked first time with no fiddling necessary. Actually bought this so I could fit an external antenna on the roof for better signal. Again it works great with the SMA connector at either end easily accessible once the fitted antennas have been unscrewed. Then simply connected the coaxes from the external antenna and switched the router back on and worked perfectly. Thoroughly recommend this product.

Unreliable 4G connection
Works ok but drops connection to the 4G network after a while. If your want a reliable router, don't choose this one. I got this to use to help monitor my home when I'm away. It's no good if it drops the 4G connection! :(
