Disappointed
Read other reviews in this shaver. Thought I would give it a try. Have fairly sensitive skin so can't shave a lot . Thought this was the answer, however very disappointed with the shaver build quality is excellent. Shaving not So. Would not recommend . Better then expected
Thought I’d give this new Braun series 9 shaver a try it’s not cheap to buy but it’s worth the extra cash, I’ve been using the Braun cooltec and with me having sensitive skin it was a godsend,so I’d done my research and finally took the plunge on the series 9 knowing if It did not meet my expectations I’d return it,but it meets all my expectations,it’s fast it does not pull hair and I get no shaver rash,yes the blade does heat up after a while unlike the cooltec but even with the heat build up I still get no rash,the cleaning station is a must it gets rid of all the skin oil,hair etc and drys it for you too,smells great once it’s clean it preforms like new again once you start to shave, in my opinion I’d would have like to have seen this model come with the cooltec feature as I like the coolness of the blade on my skin but overall I’m really impressed with this model and would recommend it to anyone thinking about itVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

A really close shave
The Braun series 9 is really good, provides a close shave and can be used wet and dry, really good battery life and has a neat charging stand, it's lightweight and easy to use. Good quality
Brown Wet&Dry 9 series is one of the best electric shavers you can get. Is it worth the money? Difficult to say. With slightly longer hair(three to four days) it doesn't handle very well. On the other hand if you use it every day(or every other day) it works fine. It's a real pleasure shaving with this machine. Even without using any foam your skin doesn't get irritated. Good Product But Ethanol Should Be Refillable.
Once set up gives an easy close shave. The cleaning cartridge should be refillable to avoid plastic waste and expense. Place for replacement foil and cutter would help too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Braun Shavers get better and better.
I have had Braun shavers for years. The cost of a new head for my series 3 was so expensive that I decided to upgrade. What a shaver. Real close and like stroking your face with a feather. Braun wet & dry best ever
My old braun 8595 wouldn't hold it's change. But it was over 12 years old and apart from new foil and cutter has served my very well. So looked for a new braun. Read various reviews for this one and thought well the old one lasted well (last the best at the time). So get the best again. Well all I can say it's worth every penny. To razor or Braun, that was the question?
For a while now I was considering to switch from razor to shaver. I have searched online and red hundreds of pages, watched many videos, studied top lists and so on... Everything I have learned told me, choose Braun, Braun 9095cc. And so I did. Jackpot! Shaver is excellent. I have a very thick beard and very sensitive skin and I fought skin irritation my whole life. I did tried shaver once, some cheap model, and it has alienate me from shavers until now. I could never have that smooth and clean shave as with razor. Until now. First time I tried it on dry skin and it didn't burn and it gave me a pretty nice shave. Face area was as smooth as when shaving with razor. Neck area was a little bit tricky but it did a pretty good job. (not as good as with razor). Second time I used it with foam and it was fantastic. The only - is the price, but hey, i did the math. I used Gillette turbo something razor, and one pack would last me for one month (one razor per week). In Croatia one pack is cca 140 HRK, so yearly I would have spend 1680 HRK (or 237$). So when you think about it, its not so expensive. Oh, and the best part is - NO IRRITATION! I can shave every day! With razor it was to painful. So to conclude + It shaves as good as the razor (FACE) but only almost good as razor on the neck line.
