Better than standard but if you want 3D graphics, buy something more expensive.

I don't game but at least if I wanted to I can, well unless it's for one of those mega expensive games in which case you wouldn't buy this card anyway! If it's for middle range games it's great I did try a new TombRaider game and the graphics were amazing. I would think this card will cover most things but if it's for very high end graphic design you might want to buy something a bit more expensive. It was a great match for what I use it for.

  • Most critical review

Performance decent, but still a disappointing and expensive card

I bought this card thinking that it would be a silent and reasonably small card. I say "reasonably" because every single graphics card that comes out today is for some reason a dual slot card, but at least this one isn't as big as many other contemporary cards. Anyway, the size was what I expected, but it's definitely NOT silent. When you turn on your PC it will sound almost like a vacuum cleaner because of this card alone. Now, it does get noticeably quieter when you've used it for a few minutes, and at that point I find it somewhat tolerable, but even then, it's definitely not a silent card. Also, because this is an Nvidia card we are talking about, don't even think about using HDMI. Nvidia applies mandatory scaling (and it's ugly let me tell you - even my ancient LCD TV's internal scaler does it better) to every resolution that isn't your "native" resolution on HDMI. I say "native" with quotation marks because Nvidia decides what your "native" resolution is, and it may well be inconsistent with your display's actual native resolution. Fortunately, the VGA port on this card works well enough with no noticeable noise on my setup, so sticking to VGA is not a bad option. About performance, I don't have any other cards from this generation to compare it to, but it seems pretty decent. Still, my next card will probably be an AMD card.

  • Surprising little performer

I bought this to replace a GT 740 which had a single, noisy fan. This card is lovely and quiet by comparison and performs surprisingly well. It's like night and day compared with the GT 740 it replaced in terms of performance, and doesn't draw a lot of power even flat out. This core i3 system total with the card working hard is just 100W. Very happy with it.

  • Reviewing a 2014 mid range graphics card in 2021 lol

For what was a mid range card in 2014 it still performs adequately in 2021 on all but the latest super graphically demanding games. Today they can be got for around 75 pounds which is arguably quite expensive, but in the current market it is still a viable contender to get you up and running with your gaming rig.

  • ASUS GEFORCE GTX 750 TI OVERCLOCKED

I am absolutely delighted for having purchased this card - of all the video cards I bought in the past (many) THIS is the QUIETEST. That's what matters to me, first and foremost. When it comes to performance, it is absolutely flawless...I think I will keep this till I...DIE?..Lol! I cannot emphasize enough how quiet this card is...amazing! Sometimes I wonder if I DO have it plugged in?...Haha!
