  • Scary Fast!!!

As the title suggest, this thing is wicked fast. This is my first high caliber cross bow as I've been an avid bow hunter for over 30 years. It is a little loud, wasn't expecting that, but wow, it shoots with rifle like accuracy. If this is your first 400 fps+ bow, a few tips, do not shoot this at a foam(block) type target. The bolt will most likely go all the way through or deep enough to destroy the fletching. The high speed will also bond the foam and carbon together making it impossible to remove. I purchased a crossbow speed bag and now I remove the bolts with two fingers The cocking rope needs to be shortened, I'm 6'3" with long arms and pulling the rope up that high is a pain. Seen a guy on youtube shorten the rope, I did the same and it made such an incredible difference in how easy it is to load now. 22 inch bolts with 100 gram broadhead shoots nearly flat to 40 yards. Love it so far!!!

  • Perfect

Came as advertised. Easily assembled in under five minutes. This bow was superquick in the scope is true. Scope reticle has red and green color which is great. I would highly recommend this crossbow. I robinhooded at 70 yards! Don’t shoot more than one arrow in a target at a time or you’ll lose a lot of arrows it’s so accurate. If you’ve been waiting for reviews or not quite sure about it, take my word for it. I did my research and this crossbow was worth the good deal as advertised and shoots very well. I was hesitant due to not having very many thorough reviews so I’m leaving this here for all potential buyers. Don’t wait another minute, purchase this set up you won’t be disappointed.

  • MORE FPS THAN EXPECTED

All items advertised for the Ghost 410 package arrived at the originally stated time of purchase. After assembly, the scope was off eleven inches low and to the right by two and a quarter inches at ten yards. Made the adjustments and was shooting in a cluster of a quarter after half dozen shots and adjusting scope after each shot. I was shooting arrows and heads that were at 504 grams and were expecting the FPS to be below the 410 FPS. Surprisingly, the FPS was around 422 to 423FPS. This may just be a fluke on this one bow. Shot 3" clusters consistently at 20, 30, 40, and 50 yards using the elevation guide with scope. Good X-Bow.

  • What a Crossbow!

I have a compound bow but decided to try out a crossbow for hunting. This is an expensive bow (I had been thinking about the Ghost 360) but oh my!! This is as accurate as any sub moa rifle. It comes as a complete package and the scope is actually really good. I have test shot this from 20-50 yards so far and I can't wait to test it out hunting this year. It is loud but the bolt moves so fast, this will be able to take down any NA big game you try it against.

Excellent crossbow, it is very fast and well built bow. It does take some shooting to get strings broke in so that the bow stays sighted in for yardage to stay consistent. At first it was shooting all the way out to 40 plus yards with the same sight crosshair, but has now gone to the normal 10 yard increments. Also I tried three different bolt makers and none of them were the same with each other, so would suggest staying with one type and model of bolt. The only thing I have against it and the only reason I did not give it a excellent is the safety does not automatically go to safe when you cock it, it stays in the fire position, other than that it is a super bow.

  • Hard-hitting and accurate

I was able to shoot three gear with this great bow at distances up to 50 yards using just the crosshairs. I did not have to hold over at longer yardage under 50 yards. It is extremely fast but a little noisy but the deer do not hear it before they are hit

  • Ghost 410

Great crossbow for the money. I spent a year looking at different crossbows and this is by far the best for the value. Haven't shot as of today but as soon as I do I'll post a review. Came with everything except broad heads Sorry just got around to post review this thing is awesome 1 inch groups at 50 and 60 yards. Smoked a doe at 65 yards dropped in her tracks if you keep it lubed like it says no issues shot about 100 times so far no string wear.

  • AWESOME!

Amazing bow right out of the box...3 arrows and sighted dead on... HIGHLY recommend! Shot my Wicked Ridge at the same target and at 30 yards half penetration...the Ghost blew straight through! Dead deer are in the forecast for this season... no question in my mind. Don't hesitate!!! Buy and see the proof for yourself.. NO REGRETS at all!!!.AWESOME thanx

  • Light weight very fast and accurate

I recently bought this crossbow and have only had a few problems. The quiver mount was too tight for the quiver to go on very easy. This I fixed by just sanding the inside of the mount where it snaps on at . The only other issue that I had was that the serving on the string seem to loosen up just outside of where the rope cocker goes. Other than that I love the bow. it is very fast and accurate. I would recommend it to any one.

  • Barnett Ghost 410 Crossbow Review

I've been a bow hunter for years, but this is my first crossbow at age 67. Assembly was easy even though the instructions were lacking in good photo documentation. I cocked the bow to make the first shot, but I couldn't get the safety off. My brother and I observed the situation and were perplexed by the unusual mechanical setup. it was Sunday, so no one was available to call to get tech-support; though we eventually figured it out. With a small screw driver, we found we could lift up the exposed arm of the safety. It would fall back into its normal position again and now the safety could be disengaged. This situation repeated itself 2-3 times and then wasn't an issue for the rest of the sight-in session. We think it was just some rough metal-to-metal contact that was preventing the smooth operation initially. Multiple disengagements of the safety probably smoothed out the contact points. We chronographed about 15 shots. Initial readings with the 425 grain bolts (field tip weight included) showed speeds between 404-408 fps. By the end of the session (50 shots or so) we were recording speeds between 413-417 fps. Impressive. Awesome accuracy so far out to 30 yards. We ran out of light to shoot farther distances but we're looking forward to 50-70 yd shots. Love this crossbow! I made a good decision buying this model.
