a new lease of life
... because of its speed a SSD will give of new lease of life to an old puter whip out the old HDD and put this in ; maybe also add say Ubuntu or any version of Linux and a fast desktop environment like LXDE of xcfe also a fast browser like Palemoon or Otter-browser and you will have a very fast machine I run a Crucial M500 120gb SSD on a 2005 Packard-Bell PC with aforementioned and it compares well with an ACER I got a year ago which has a traditional HDD .... so treat yourself to the modern age here .... Of course you can also add it to a new machine ... they are noiseless DO NOT HEAT so highly recommended
