Brilliant piece of equipment
Some of the recent TV dramas have had soundtracks that are unintelligible and as a result we needed some help. Easy to install with many good features this equipment has helped a great deal.

Poor subwoofer in my opinoin
Sound bar was good but in my opinion the subwoofer lacked volume even when subwoofer volume and bass were on max. Also believe subwoofer was of poor design having the actual speaker exposed at back of the enclosure. This makes it easy to accidentally damage. changed subwoofer for one I modified from an old HP surround sound system. Now it sounds good! Chucked Samsung subwoofer in spare room until I decide what to do with it. I don't like the fact that they use a button battery in the remote AAA batteries would be better, Fortunately managed to program my sat box to do volume and mute. Do like that you can wall mount sound bar which I have. Do like that the optical signal will switch system on and off standby. But had to buy a longer optical cable.

Great sound, great value
This is a relatively low cost sound bar that has features and sound quality that really stand out. We bought it because it was listed as a "Which" Best Buy and we've not been disappointed. It's connected to our TV by an optical out, and we also use its Bluetooth features to connect to phones, computers etc. to play music. We're really impressed with the sound quality, the sub-woofer packs a decent punch, and overall it looks good. Size-wise it's well suited to a 40" T, but should also be okay with larger TVs, likely up to 48".

Gremlins in the works :(
This Soundbar is abysmal, I bought it because it has an 80% positive five star rating in Which Magazine. But I had to return it, as it was a total nightmare. Possibly like the 2016 Star Wars film, it was a Rogue One. Okay lets be serious. It Started when it picked up a radio signal from an unknown source. It just started to be speakers for a radio program, I have to assume from a neighbouring house. It actually turned itself on and linked itself to this signal, I eventually had to remove it from the mains to stop it turning itself on. Then in the evenings, it kept turning itself onto Blue tooth, I'd try and source it to Optical and it would return to Bluetooth, even though there were none in operation. It also went mute, so even for the couple of minutes it was on optical, there was no sound. The bar had to be completely shut down for half an hour before could be used again. I contacted Samsung support, who talked me through reinitialising it and it went wrong again the following evening. I was asked to contacted them again if it happened and half an hour later they said, there was nothing they could do and return it to the seller. The optical cable it comes with is also rubbish.

Soundbar not designed for wall mounting
Great surround sound Very easy set up: I use the optical audio output with my Apple TV and the Bluetooth to play music from my phone. Only downside, it is not designed for wall mounting but to be placed under a TV on a Table or rack.

Rich sounds
Nice rich sounds at a very reasonable price. Bought this as the next step up from the polaroid sound bar I had before and what a difference. Comes with a tidy phat base and a selection of presets to augment the type of music your listening to.

Samsung soundbar
Very easy to setup. Soundbar fits nicely in front of tv and subwoofer behind tv. Was a bit longer than expected, slightly more than the width of 40in tv. Has to sit slightly forward of tv because of tv legs. Doesn't work with tv remote as expected eventhough both Samsung.

Does the job well.
This is a decent addition to have for your flat screen, also laptop mob phone etc. It connects easily via BT. I found the voice on some tv programs a bit muffled, this makes things good. There are things to fiddle with to help make the sound you are looking for. Don't take too much notice of what the preset says just let your ears choose. As this is cloth covered it will soon become dusty but this is the only thing i did not like. The Sub makes a decent bass for a moderate size room. For the money it is very good.

Better TV listening
Better ,if not quite brilliant, sound from this equipment,compared to the built-in speakers on my Samsung tv. Easy to set up. Sound does not automatically come on - you need to press the appropriate button on the neat and effective remote control but this becomes quite a reflex action after a short time.
