Brilliant little camera
I bought this to upgrade from the G2, so I already had a set of lenses to use with it. It's much easier to use than earlier cameras in this series, with a lot more thought having gone into the placement of the controls. It is also flexible since one can program many of the buttons and dials for oneself. It can be used as a "point-and-shoot" camera (in iA mode), or one can take full control of all the settings. Features I've used so far include panoramas, HDR shots, and 4k video. The last feature is well-integrated with photo-taking since one can select the best frame from a short burst of 4k. It will even record 1 second before and after pressing the shutter - brilliant for wildlife and action shots. I do a lot of hill-walking, so this small and lightweight camera is ideal, without any compromise on features.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Good quality pictures. The files are camera raw plus jpeg so . compatible with photomatrix HDR Google Nik and photoshop software . Mine was set to factory settings . The date and time need to be set also you need to get the camera off Intelligent auto + and onto intelligent auto also auto white balance needs to be set before you can asses picture quality.
