The Post Filter has a low cost internal cartridge that is to be changed annually. This filter can be used with all the Monarch Scaleout XP models SXP15 and SXP22 and plus models except the SXPLC and SXP28 which requires the SXPF10.

Monarch Scaleout water filter.
Expensive for what it is but if need it you have to buy it. It’s easy to fit, suggest you smear vaseline on the holder before installation to give a solid water seal. Buying direct from Monarch is a lot more expensive.

Replacement Filter but we can't use it!
The filter appears to be fine but I cannot remove the old one to put it in place so it isn't being used. Monarch are unable to offer any help with removing the old filter other than "bash it with a hammer!"
