Good deal for the radio advertised.
This is a pretty darn good radio for the price. I was pretty leery about buying this radio at first because of the fact it has no tags. This has always been a worry for me but I decided to bite the bullet on this one. I had purchased all the APX programming utilities and once I received the radio (Like new condition, had one or two very minor and small scuffs that were BARELY noticable) I began the programming process. Boy was that a long process! I am an EMS-only provider and I use the radio on a day-to-day basis for different operations (EMS, SWAT team, technical rescue, education purposes, etc.) and it has so far been flawless. Once I worked out the kinks with the programming and making sure all frequencies were correct, I have noticed better audio on the receiving side as well as the transmit side. I haven't had a chance to try out the noise cancellation yet, but I'm sure it will work nice. I only have two downsides to the radio that I have found so far. The first is the size of the radio. Personally, I enjoy a radio that is a bit heavier with some size just so I know it's there and I can tell where it is. Second, I found it exceptionally more difficult to use the 16-position selector knobon this radio than any of the XTS series radios on the top of the radio. Because of this, I ordered one of the "fat" channel knobs and should be here soon. Once that is installed, I will be much happier. Overall a great radio for the price. If you're one who is going to be using this radio for any sort of public safety, you're in luck.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Fantastic radio, extremely good build quality , built to last. The radio is basically controlled or setup by the CPS software. You will need the CPS to program the radio.
