Wonderful story!
My son is obsessed with this book. It is the first one that he has memorised in full and can reel off to anyone that will listen. The language is lovely - lots of great use of onomatopoeia. My daughter (who was 3 at the time) became obsessed with this book after reading it as part of world book week at nursery in '16 ...we then saw it on tv on Christmas Eve & that was it SHE LOVES IT! The story is fun entertaining & keeps moving -makes my daughter shriek with excitement when the bear follows the children home but makes her sad when she sees the bear walking home alone & looking sad at the end ...
