Good but reservations
Clearly an excellent PSU. Very quiet with plenty of power for the PC and two R9 390X graphics cards. Modular connectors are wonderful. However what if I wanted to run four graphics cards? (I do.) Well it probably has the power for that and the PCIe sockets for the extra cables BUT only cables enough for two cards. Ok so I jump on ebay and try and buy some Corsair Type 4 to PCIe cables. What? They're £25 each!!! If I'd have bought their 1000watt PSU it would have had the four cables. OK so I don't need that much power but it would keep the fan from coming on. The fan only comes on under more than 50% load and only noisy at 70% load. So if you're buying an expensive PSU then make sure you get an expensive enough one to actually do what you want. Drive enough GPUs and be quiet whilst doing so. Not have to buy extra cables.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
