Time for a change !!!!
I needed an inexpensive coin counter and this one fits the bill perfectly. It has an in-built, battery powered coin counter and it was easily "assembled". When I say "assembled", all I had to do was slot the tubes into the base and put the lid on !!!! It does come with instructions but they are not really needed. It was delivered to my local Argos very quickly and was well packaged. There are more expensive coin counters on the market but, if all you want is one to take care of the coins you used to leave on the bedside cabinet, then this is the one for you. It was cheap. Doesn’t sort or count!
Very very inaccurate in reading Coins. Tried 20 coins and it only got 10 right. 20p coins go in £1 and vice versa. £2 and 50p are the same. You’d get the same level of accuracy and sorting by throwing your change in a bucket and guessing how much is there! Awful.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good sorter, Bad counter
A good novelty, but no good for showing the value of contents. Putting 50p's into the machine adds £2 to the total for each one so any 50p's in the machine gives an incorrect total. If you want the machine to sort the coins it works well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Don't expect this thing to count.
Purchased this item for a bit of fun, unfortunately it is wildly inaccurate in its counting and only about 90% accurate in depositing coins in the designated tubes. Waste of batteries really, but good fun all the same.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice looks a shame it cannot count

Can't read LCD screen easily. Have to be really careful when putting the coins in otherwise the item thinks its a different coin. The coins often fall out and you have to open it up and put it in by hand. No way to take some money out, you have to re count it all.
