All in all a very user friendly device that represents great value.
A very effective tool for mounting light cameras or scopes on. The release clips are easy to use when it come to extending the pole and strong enough to make it an effective walking aid. My only concern is the foam handle and how durable it will prove to be ? The catch fastening the scope to the pole is simple to use and does the job of securing the camera or scope well. Nice product for the price and lighter cameras and phones
It’s very good for the price but obviously built to a very tight value level. You really could not ask for more at the price. If it were say £5 more and the fixing to camera plate a little more substantial, that would be great. If the diameter of the pole was a bit wider, this would be good too, but obviously at a bit more cost. It is great as a consumer product for phones and lighter pocket cameras, but with the above points looked at and maybe a reduction in section lengths to make it more compact, it would be spot on. At full stretch it does seem to sag quit...
At full stretch it does seem to sag quite a bit with my 7kg commercial metal 28" monitor, you also need 2 people to hang a Monitor / TV to it due to the pathetic way the Vesa plate attaches to the arm. Really useful both as a hiking stick and also a monopod for my DSLR. The quick-release mechanism really works well - the one drawback is that you have to take the quick-release off the camera if you want to change batteries or SD cards but this is true of most quick release systems.
