they work very well
I have had two sets of these phones before and they have all stopped working within three years. Luckily I purchased the extra guarantee so qualified for a no cost replacement. Outside of the longevity issue they work very well and do what it says on the tin. We do not receive any nuisance calls at all and my wife feel much more secure as a result. The last ones I bought were for a widow friend who has been inundated by cold calls and finds it difficult to say NO. Great way to stop those cold calls

Since using the BT 8500 Callblocker, I'm a far calmer person, because it screens out all those unwanted calls that used to annoy me, so I really can't praise it enough. This stopped all our unwanted sales calls overnight, though Caller ID from the landline provider is a must to secure the full benefit.
