When we first opened the box I was really worried about the size of these speakers. They are on the larger side for patio speakers. Once we hooked them up however they are so worth their size. These things sound amazing!!! So crystal clear. The neighbors love our sound and just ask up to turn it up so they can hear to rather than used theirs. Huge speaker and price, Tiny mid-low end sound and value

Ok speaker, but...
Lighter in weight than expected, but that's a good thing considering you're hanging them off your house, these are quite large. Easy to install. Sound quality good at lower volumes, but do not expect to crank these speakers, as they recognizably distort at higher volumes. I bought these because of the horn tweeters which I have heard in other brands hoping to get a little more penetrating treble, but even at 20' the highs diminish. Loud
These speakers are mounted 30 feet apart on tree's about 15 feet high, 30 feet from my deck. Between them I hung a white 27'x12' tarp. I have an 3D projector on a table in my den. I now have a huge outdoor Theater. With 130 watt receiver. Excels and every way!
I have owned two pairs of Klipsch Heresey Speakers for over 50 years, and they still sound as good as the day I purchased them. Knowing this, I purchased the all weather outdoor models, that were rated 85 watts continuous RMS, per speaker, and that alone was what I needed outdoors for the patio. Everyone who has heard them has agreed, they are full of brilliance, with a horn midrange and wonderful bass response in such a compact size. Mounting was simple, and the large wire thumb nuts are gold plated, and really make excellent connections. Very pleased! Although not made in Hope, Arkansas as my originals, these Chinese built speakers are of excellent quality, and I still highly recommend! Klipsch AW-650 out door speakers

Excellent and must have
If you're are looking for a great sound than these are exactly what you are looking for. I bought these for our pool area and they have blown my expectations out of the water. They are a lot bigger than I was expecting but that is not an issue for me at least. They have some weight to them which is a good thing whenever it comes to speakers. The listing said the box was previously opened but like new condition, the price was well over $100 cheaper than anything I could find on the internet. I took a chance & scored big time! These things are awesome. I'm on 5 acres & am powering them with a mid range Onkyo reciever & have no issues hearing them anywhere on the property.
