Small heavyweight
Pros On opening the packaging it was immediately clear that the build quality was good and that this was a heavyweight machine in a small package. Dash fitting is straight forward and easy wth the supplied tools, and the silverline blade came with a 'lifetime guarantee'. The base plate is firm and stable with positive adjustments and the handle provides for a firm grip and easy control. Cons The only disappointment is the cheap quality of the water feed system, it's cheap plastic and has a very tenuous connection to a water source which is a bit archaic and keeps coming detached. Good kit but needs some improvements
The machine itself seems solid and fairly well made but the water delivery system is very poorly put together. It falls apart if the water pressure is too high or the tube is pulled in any way. There needs to be splash guards put in place to stop the cutting wheel throwing dust drenched water to the back of the cut. Also, being based on a circular saw, it needs a cutting guide attachment for ease of cutting a regular gauge off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

a tough cookie
A great little machine. Cut through 30mm thick Granite worktops no problem. One irritating issue - the edge of the sole plate did not run parallel to the blade & considerably impeded the cutting action. A bit of remedial work with an angle grinder to true-up the edge made a huge difference. Also the water feed adaptor for a hosepipe was a rather feeble affair & a flow-restrictor (tap) from the internet again improved things. but all-in-all a great little machine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good little saw
Works well, quite powerful, saw blade size not commonly available but silverline blades work well. Water jet system works well and keeps the dust down to next to nothing, hose is a friction fit so if you have full hose pressure on it will keep disconnecting, but I found it fine with tap partly on it was fine. Wet tile/slab cutter
Bought this to do a tiling job with large slate floor tiles, in the end, I used my small angle grinder which was less fuss. Shall be selling this on E-bay. But it does work for smaller DIY jobs where dust maybe an issue.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very effective hand held wet stone cutter saw.
Extremely pleased with my purchase. Have been most impressed by its ease at cutting through 30mm granite worktops., I used cable ties at both ends of the plastic hose to secure it to the water jets and to the connector for attaching to garden hose pipi, which worked perfectly. The water spray jets either side of the cutter blade prevented any dust too.
