Not bad for the price
I've tried different Bluetooth speakers and this is the best for the price. The sound is excellent, the set up and connection easy. BUT as other people have mentioned in their reviews, some interference has started, noticeable after a while and at low volumes. Not distortion, but a kind of bubbling sound. Psyc Monic not up to the job!
Ok sound quality is all I can say in a positive light. Very quiet on full volume no matter what device it's connected too. Battery life started off around 2.5hrs(on full vol'),now after owning for approximately 2 weeks it's more like 50minutes to an hour. Low Ah capacity cheap 're-chargeable battery makes this potentially good speaker a bad buy even under £40.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sounds great look and feels high end product battery life pretty good depending on volume if it does have one fault then he has to be when's you haven't played music through the Bluetooth speaker for about 30 seconds then it will disconnect from your phone and so you have to go through the process of reconnecting got that being the only problem this has to be the only speaker for me it's probably my best buy of last year 2016and anyone who does buy this speaker will not be disappointed i would and will recommend this speaker to anyoneVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

My first impression was "Woow..". The speaker has quality sound and its pretty loud too. There are few bugs or disadvantages I have cane across. 1. It needs a powerful minimum 2 Amps charger. 2. There is no battery indicator neither on the device itself or within a Bluetooth settings. 3. Not Full volume support over Bluetooth. 4. When listening music VIA AUX cable, you can hear undesired noises, poor noise filtering system. Apart from that the speaker is just great. Remarkably good sound
This isn't going to compete with a proper hi-fi, but for its size the sound it produces is astonishing. We tend to get used to the rather anaemic sound that laptops produce, even when using external speakers, but the Psyc Monic manages to produce sound with a decent amount of bass. As I said, it's nowhere near real hi-fi speakers but it's better than anything else I've heard in this price range. I use it via Bluetooth and it works very well. With the analogue cable I get a lot of background hiss, but that may just be my laptop. Note that it needs external power. I found that connecting it up to a USB port on my laptop wasn't quite enough to keep it charged while playing music.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pysc monic vs bose soundlink 1&2
Excellent sound qaulity. The monic produces a very big sound from a small box. Bass is impressive and mids and high end are especially good,far superior than the soundlink. Expect about 3 hours use from the monic at high volumes,whereas 4 can be achieved by the soundlink. Overall the sound link has longer battery life of 10 hours compared to the monics 7 hours. The monics case is made from aluminium as is the Bose soundlink giving a qaulity feel.Both are weighty but not to heavy. The pysc monic and bose soundlink can be wired with the correct cables (with two units) to have a left and right placement although both units will produce a duel left and right. Generally the Bluetooth connectivity is the same on both monic and soundlink. The monic charges via a common micro usb charger (only the lead supplied) Bose soundlink has a charging plug/lead supplied. Power output is claimed to be up to 10 watts rms x2 for the monic but the bose hasn't been disclosed. There is very little difference between power output of both. Overall both products have official star ratings. Bang for your buck the monic wins hands down. Sound depth...the monic wins. Great sound great value
I love it! Although I wish I could pair Bluetooth while on airplane mode. I use for a fitness class so have to use unpaired. Sound is amazing for such a small setup.
