The N64's popular, powered-up snowboarding series returns to the slopes in this portable sequel. Combining the fun, forgiving physics of a kart racer with the over-the-top action of an "extreme sports" simulation, SBK has players racing down snowy slopes full of ramps, shortcuts, and power-ups. This DS version of the game has players controlling their characters through with touch screen commands, as the action is displayed above. Each of the eight available characters has a unique special trick move and projectile attack, to add variety and chaos to the competitive runs. As many as four SBK players can compete together, wirelessly, in the game's multiplayer modes.
