Silent power
This fan is amazing and frankly speaking - it is better than my bathroom and kitchen extractor combined. I used it for a completely unintended purpose - as a laundry drier, desktop fan, etc. It can be easily connected to the small DC-DC boost and powered from the USB. Works very well: starts spinning from approx 5.3V, but I have found that the best combination of performance and noise is achieved somewhere between 8 and 9 Volts. EXCELLENT!

I'll bet this thing will run like a tank ad infinitum if you need it to. I reckon it's so well built it'll take years to fail. However I'll admit I made the mistake of confusing this with the beige and brown consumer edition. If you want to make a quiet desktop PC DO NOT buy this fan. Very silent and efficient
