Excellent Value
Having struggled for months to achieve a good signal from the Freeview antenna at out holiday house in Norfolk I gave up an installed this Freesat box (there was already a dish and LNB). The item was dispatched promptly, arrived quickly by recorded mail and was well packaged. The receiver was very easy to install, I just told it which satelite and LNB I was using and it did the rest. Fantastic product
I purchased this for a relative to get FTA satellite channels as they have no internet at their address. Their Freeview reception is terrible. This box was responsive, intuitive and a pleasure to set up. In my own Panasonic TV, there is no way to delete channels from the channel list but this box allows you to delete and order channels with relative ease. I can't recommend this box enough. They will never use the IPTV and frankly, they have no call to, all the channels they wanted were picked up by the satellite. ****Update**** The OpenBox V9s keeps rebooting whilst watching satellite or media files. Constant problems
Problems with setting up channels are a pain due to the unresponsiveness of the product but the main problem is connecting to the internet is the worst, first wi-fi stopped working and it is certainly nothing to do with my network as it doesn't detect any nearby networks which it did previously. So when wi-fi stopped working I connected it with an ethernet cable, after a few days that stopped working as well and I cannot seem to find a way to fix it after trying many things, so now the product is basically unusable without a way to connect it to the internet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good machine but user guide poor.
The machine works well so far and provides a good quality picture. However I found it difficult to set up favourites so you don't need to scroll through full list to find a particular channel. All channels seem to load into favourites and the only way I could see to restrict the favourites was to go through list and delete those you didn't want. I would have preferred to have gone through full list and move those channels I wanted into favourites.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

It's weird looking box but it's well built and sturdy. The HD channels are clear and super vivid. This box gives all the Freesat channels and all Fta available satellites. And all the Fta UK music channel. Negative :- Manual is a complete rubbish channel editing and favourite edit is nightmare. It can take up 90 minutes.
