Works perfectly as described
I have a TubShroom in my tub and since then never have a clogged drain. It's been working perfectly as advertised. When I saw the SinkShroom, I knew I had to order it as well. The SinkShroom looks just like a smaller version of the TubShroom except for the two additional spacers under the top flange which create optimal clearance for drainage. It catches hair around its barrel just as well. It also does a good job of preventing small objects such as jewelry from falling into the drain by accident. Hair accumulated around the barrel can easily be removed by wiping it down with a paper towel. The only caveat is that most bathroom sinks have a built-in, pop-up stopper that needs to be removed before you can use the SinkShroom. This usually requires a bit of work under the sink. Anyhow, It shouldn't be a problem unless you may need to fill the sink with water occasionally. You can always get a rubber stopper though.

Not sure how effective it really is but it pretty much works as a drain stop. Not sure how many of the small hairs it will catch. It does slow the drainage of water so the sink backs up a bit. Yeah, it’s just okay

No more sink overflows!
We have 3 adults plus cats so lots of hair in the drain! This is easy to install in various sized drains. Just clean off hair once a week and you are good to go. I bought 2 but only one package came with directions. You’ll want the directions if only for peace of mind. I have one in bathroom sink and one in tub. These fit both even though tub & sink are different sized and structured. Very easy. Satisfied with my money well spent on this product!

Pricey and not worth the money
I bought 2 to try before buying it for all of the sinks and drains. It didn't fit well. It was too small for shower drain and too big for bathroom sink. I made it work but now water drains slowly. I wouldn't recommend it. Better off buying a metal or plastic drainer from hardware store for 1/4 of the cost.

Does not fit all 1 1/4" drains
Bought one of these for our bathroom tub. It does not fit like the pictures. It drops all the way down the drain. The water started to fill in the tub immediately until it was up and over this. Then it only drained slowly through the holes in the top.
