Totally legit and way below retail.
I am a technician so naturally when Southwire brought this meter out recently I wanted it. Honestly I was skeptical of this item because of the price, I own 2 other Southwire meters and they both cost more than this one and neither of them are True RMS certified meters. The package arrived about 3 or 4 days earlier than estimated. When I opened it I knew right away this is a true Southwire meter, no damage of any kind. The packaging was undamaged and looked as good as if it were hanging in a local hardware store. I tested it thoroughly and it works just as it is expected. If you are in my line of work or just need a good digital mult-meter then you really need to jump on this. Retail price in most places is $135.00 you can find a few for $85.00 to $95.00. Price any quality true RMS certified DMM and you will find this is more than a good deal. And for anyone concerned, I just registered my warranty and have it added to my list on the Southwire website with the other 2 meters I own. Love the Bluetooth
Bought this to compliment a Fluke 29 series II that I bought 27 years ago attending school and have babied since new. Measuring AC voltage at an outlet, it is within 10 millivolts out of 125 volts AC of my Fluke or .08% accuracy. I'd say it is pretty darn accurate! The meter feels rugged and substantial, and is easy to use. The back is a bit difficult to take off and re-secure when replacing fuses however. I've had several of the Southwire multimeters and they have all worked very well. I had the 14070T, same meter without Blue-tooth and it worked great. Then I ran into a project where I needed to have the meter hooked up in one room while I operated the equipment and needed to see the voltage. This meter did the trick. The app on the iPhone is basic but effective. You can save the data and email it as a CSV file which is very nice. The Blue-tooth range is very good. These meters are all UL listed and if you look at the meter review channels on youtube you can see where it has all the proper high-voltage separation cuts in the board as well as proper fusing. This is a safe meter and your life is worth having a safe meter while working on electrical equipment.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just received this meter and all in all it seems very well built. Nice Crisp display. pretty good quality leads.. Molded rubberized enclosed case seems well put together.. Even has a latching continuity tester with a good quality beeper.. so far seems well worth the money I paid for it.. this is my backup meter and my usual is a fluke 87v.
