    Robust quality but performance is poor.

    I very much wanted to love this torch, having heard great things of Coast and their products. Whilst the built quality is excellent, the power is lacking. The white light is certainly not the 80 lumens claimed, even with brand new Duracell batteries installed. The coloured led options are a great idea, but again...lack any punch at all, and the throw is uneven. I bought the torch hoping for use in complimenting light painting photography but apart from a little fill light use perhaps, I'll be sticking with flashguns and gels. In conclusion: Not a cheap torch, I expected more.

    useful hand torch whilst sailing

    This is my second torch, (first I lost) excellent beam brightness on all colours. The only tip I would give is untwist the body slightly, to 'disconnect' contact with the batteries when putting into a bag or pocket as its very easy to press a button and the light illuminates. really annoying when travelling. Great torch

    perfect little torch.

    I bought this torch to go out in the garden at night with my granddaughter and we both love it because you can change the colours it was worth the money and just what she had always wanted.
