The Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Electric Guitar is an iconic electric guitar that combines a classic design and vintage rock and roll pedigree. Fender guitars have been popularized by famous musicians, and the Stratocaster is one of the most recognizable. A large part of the Stratocaster look is the iconic body shape. The curved front sections of the guitar body are created by the cutaways that allow access to the lowest parts of the guitar neck. The ability to reach the lower fingerboard is a classic feature of the Strat series. The Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Electric Guitar is available in many colors and finishes, including a pale blue called Daphne Blue. The Daphne Blue Deluxe Strat has a bass wood body, a maple neck, and a white pickguard. The Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Daphne Blue Electric Guitar features a single-coil bridge pickup. The Duncan designed pickups provide a warm tone, and the classic 22-fret scale length on the maple neck creates the smooth playing experience for which the Fender Stratocaster guitars are known. In addition to Daphne Blue, the Fender Stratocaster series is also produced in a light green color called Surf Green. Variations of the Fender Stratocaster Deluxe Electric Guitar include the Fender custom shop models. Custom shop stratocasters feature advanced circuitry that enables a range of pickup sound configurations. All models have 1/4-inch phone plug outputs to connect to amps, pedal accessories, and mixers. The output can also be connected directly to many recording accessories, such as inline recorders. These features allow this classic instrument to be used in modern ways. Many Custom Shop Fender Startocaster Deluxe guitars feature upgrades, such as a hand-selected alder body, quilt maple top with satin finish, birds-eye maple neck, 10/56 large V neck shape, and hand-wound ’60s spec pickups. Fender Stratocaster Deluxe electric guitars are also produced in left-handed models. Fender Stratocaster electric guitars have been designed in collaboration with many artists, and the series includes signature models that include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson, Sergio Vallin, Buddy Guy, The Edge, and Jeff Beck. Each of the signature series Fender Stratocaster guitars have features and trim unique to the artists that have endorsed them. Plays like a dream
This guitar is really well made. I also have a later USA made 2006 strat but the quality of the 1999 model is a lot better. The finish on the 1999 is much superior and the Schaller locking tuners make it really easy to string and keep the guitar in tune. What I like most is that the frets seem to have been filed down to make sure they are perfectly level: this makes it possible to set the action really low and increases comfort and speed both. I think it also reduces fret buzz and the guitar seems to get a lot more sustain compared the newer model. I love the single coil pickups as they give me the most expressive sound, on the downside they can get a bit noisy but nothing that a noise can't handle. It's All True
Everything you've read about the Squire Strats is true. Excellent value for the money. Plays like a dream. No complaints whatsoever. I've owned probably 50 guitars and most of those were electrics and some of those cost upwards of $2,500 (Gibson, Gretsch Rickenbacker, Fender).
