Does what it says.
You either like battery grips for these cameras or you don't. I've always used one. They're good for people with large hands and/or if you're using a long/heavy lens. One advantage is that you don't lose photo opportunities if one battery gets low as the camera switches automatically to the other.

brilliant addition to a great camera
The 2nd battery adds to this outstanding camera as well as with the grip the ease to shoot in landscape or portrait as you can see for the image attached it makes getting that photo so much easier as the weight is better balanced
