Reasonably priced, high quality printer capable of A3, double sided and photo prints on special papers.
Print quality is very good. Speed OK, slower on double sided. The ink goes very quickly in an office! The utilities and remote scanning (write to PC) are very good. Diagnostics and help also good. Ink is very expensive, raising the running cost of this printer above our old Brother laser printer (we still have it luckily). The ability to print A3 is extremely useful and a major reason for purchase. A3 printing is normally one sheet at a time into the back feeder. Cheap and cheerful.
As A3 printers go if that's what you need it is cheap to buy and you can get good inks off Ebay cheap enough. The ink last not too bad. This affects quality. As print quality goes, it's not great. We discovered that after we used it. The reviews were good that's why we purchased it. But it wasn't what we expected for what we required. Thoroughly recommended printer which prints up to A3. Also scans, prints, copies and faxes.
A first-class printer which prints up to size A3. My much older Brother A3 printer needed to be replaced after 10 years of regular use and this current model is absolutely perfect. I love it and it has features that my former printer didn't have. It copies, prints, scans and faxes with brilliant clarity. Quick and easy set up. Wifi connectivity brilliant. A bigger unit than expected - I should have checked dims - but with a full flat bed A3 scanner and paper feeds, makes sense. A very multi-functional printer
For all the things this printer can do at the price this is some printer my only reservations is because I had a similar Brothers printer that also performed very well but once it began to go wrong I could not find a nearby company willing to service it. I am using this as an all-in-one and expected good quality prints, I wasn't disappointed! Despite it's volume, the machine is fast and quiet in operation. I prefer hard copy manuals for devices I own, I occasionally download repair (engineering) manuals for some older equipment (mostly audio / digital equip.) as I carry out a lot of repair and maintenance on equipment, both owned by me and to favour family etc., - printing hard-copy booklets is so easy and fast with this printer. With only the supplied (lower volume!) printer ink cartridges, I was surprised at the number of prints I was able to achieve before needing new cartridges. All round, I am very pleased with the product, it handles graphics, photos and text with great aplomb and have yet to identify any negatives.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good printer & no regrets - so far.
Not used it much so far but the print quality seems good and didn't have any problems setting it up. If you're used to a normal size home printer, this one will seem very large! Great Printer
Does exactly what it says on the box. Good quality scans and prints upto A3, double sided printing, quiet when working, easy to use controls and easy to set up and install wirelessly. No problems ! The new ink cartridges do cost a little more to buy that the old ones I used to buy for my old (9 years old) A3 printer but then the new ink cartidges will be more economical long term. It's a printer but with multiple applications & features.
The brother MFC-J6530DW printer is fantastic, wireless printing via your mobile phone with the app (iPrint & Scan) also you must install the brother print service plugin (All available on play store or app store) The top loader for photocopying is excellent, no more having to lift up the printer lid to photocopy (But you can do this too if you prefer) The printer is very easy to setup out of the box, just make sure you have enough room to house the printer as it is quite big. This printer replaced an old brother MFC printer I had that gave up after 8 years, I like the ease & flexibility of this printer, you can either have it on a wireless network or you can use the LAN cable connection for hard wired networking etc. You can also purchase imitation inks for this printer which are priced reasonable, where as the original inks are very expensive. If I have one thing to say about the printer on a negative perspective: It's very plasticky not built as well as old models & it's also quite big but other than that, it does everything I need it to do & more.
