A terrific little set!
A terrific little set. Five colourful figures, bags of character in both modes, and comprising one glorious character when combined - the type of mad, shouldn't work chaos that totally does and you're glad somebody sat down and invented! For fans, the G1 callbacks are huge, obvious and lots of fun. It should be noted this is the second iteration of these characters in this particular toyline - the first ones were released individually and coloured more like their G1 counterparts (all bu Hung-gurr, sadly, who remains red and colgate white instead of purple and off-white). But the transparent plastic is fun, eye-catching and great to look at. For kids, this may be too fiddly and, dare I say, fragile for robust play, so it's pitched upwards of 10 years old, I reckon. The individual character toys are fine for younger ages (although the guns are a swallow hazard for the really young) - simple transformations abound - but combined mode requires patience and a steady hand. I have trouble, and I've been collecting Transformers for 30 years! Display rather than Play, maybe.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
