Nice oven, & easy to clean.
I have been using my new Bosch oven about 4 months now, and I really like it! The oven was easy to fit in a standard oven housing. It comes with a 13A plug fitted, although in my case I wired it into the cooker connection unit. One minor problem is that the temperature settings are a little difficult to see, as they are obscured by the big knob, but it's ok if you look at it head-on. Another minor problem is that the interior enamel finish is not so easy to clean, compared to my last oven which had self-cleaning linings. On the other hand, the door can be removed, and the glasses all come apart, so the door is a doddle to clean! The touch-panel display is a bit sensitive to moisture, so you may set this off while cleaning. The self-timer is easy to use, although the alarm is a bit quiet. I upgraded the interior light to a 40W bulb, which gives nice bright illumination. I have only used the oven in standard fan-assisted mode, which works fine. Unfortunately, only one shelf is provided, although I was able to get a second inexpensive lookalike one on ebay (Part Number 00574876). I'm very happy with this oven, and I'd recommend it as a reliable, easy to clean oven.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

No bottom heating element
A big minus for this owen is that it does not have the bottom heating element, so wharever I bake...bread, pies, cakes looks well baked over the top, but it is not baked on the bottom side. I was accustomed to the Seamens oven, that I used for years, but it had the top and bottom heat elements and it was far better functioning than this Bosh, I would say it was far superior to this Bosh and in tge similar price range ( just a bit more expensive. If I knew this Bosh dud not have a bottom heating element, I would have never purchsed it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
