One of the best monitors for 1440p gaming out there.
If you are into more into FPS then the 278q is the model to go for because it's almost the as good as the 279q in colour reproduction and quality (albeit a little worse viewing angles), there is considerably less ghosting. If you are less FPS but into more other genres of gaming with less faced paced action, then get yourself the 279q if you can, otherwise the 278q is as good. The OSD is very simple and it does lack some features that the competing BENQ's may have like sharpness and reduced blue light, but then again the colour accuracy and fine detail of 1440p make it look very very crisp anyways.
