An excellent buy because it includes all the extra episodes each season which almost evaded my gaze! Just simply a good "view". Packaging and condition excellent. Everything for my wife who is the Downton addict. Not happy with the way the CDs are stored inside the box. They spring out with just a touch and it is impossible to keep them in the right order for easy viewing. Didn't watch Downton when it was on the TV as I'd rather choose when and how many episodes to watch at any one time, this item allowed me to do just that. Downtown Glory.
There are no pros or cons just great viewing. Well both my parents and my Gran were bought up in victorian times so alot of this my parents did and dressed the same , I was told that children should be seen and not heard its a shame but I grew up okay thankfully!!.I have just started watching this, when it was on I did not watch it Im not sure why because I am loving it and so excited for next part so to own this box set is going to make me a proud mum. Now and then a little gem comes along and this is that time. Enjoyable to watch
A well written and very good story of how life was back in the early 1900's. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the complete series even though it had been on TV, it was nice to re-engage with all the characters. Insight into the past .
The only thing I found confusing was finding the order of play ,ie after each series on starting the next to find I'd missed part of the story .!!
