Classic Gary Cooper portraying a true hero.
This "product" is exactly as described. It cost more than I thought it should, but provided extra stuff that I didn't need or want. All the lower priced copies of the movie had subtitles only in Korean! I needed English subtitles for hard-of-hearing and deaf American senior citizens. It is a war movie; do you call that entertaining? The pictures and sound are of very good quality. My five star rating is for the content of the movie itself. Old classic

Development of a war hero & wrestling in his conscience about what is God's will.
Excellent view of early 20th century woods life in Tennessee - Kentucky having been a most effective "training" to fight in WWI. There is the conversion of the man to Christianity causing his conscientious objection to killing. Thou shalt not kill versus invasion of another country's army is in the wrestling ring of his conscience. Eventually resolved: Render to Caesar what is his & God what is His. ( At the same time of this commandment was judgment of stoning to death for a few high crimes.) He was in the same mountainous environment handling a rifle the same way & ended up capturing 132 German soldiers, who mostly otherwise would have died had there been an artillery barrage which was scheduled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great old movie
Apologies for my last review, I got this movie mixed up with the Audey Murphy one (bought both at the same time). This movie is also an old classic about Sgt York, a Medal of Honor recipient in WWI.
