Great Scottish detective
Having read almost all of the Rebus mystery novels by Scottish author Ian Rankin, I am thoroughly enjoying watching this BBC series on dvd. The last three seasons of the show starred Ken Stott as Rebus, playing him true to character as a slovenly man of excess appetites, while the first season had the more refined John Hannah playing Rebus from a more intellectual angle.
