Does an adequate job
I bought the Braun to replace an 11 year old Philips Arcitec rotary shaver. It is many years since I used a foil shaver and I have to admit I was expecting the technology to have advanced in the intervening period. Sadly, this is not the case. It does provide a reasonable shave (especially if you are in a hurry) but it is no faster, smoother or closer than the Philips and it is certainly not as close as a wet razor shave. I do like the fact that it can be washed out without removing the head and it is comfortable to use. The trimmer attachment is a faff because the shaver head has to be removed to fit it but it works well enough. It is also 100% waterproof so being able to use it in a shower or with foam/gel is a bonus although it does not provide a closer shave. Bottom line - if I could get a decent replacement blade for the Philips (they don't make it anymore) I would still be using that shaver but as it the Braun is a adequate replacement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not very good product. Wasn’t very good when I first tried it, so tried again the day after a wet shave to see what it’s like with really short stubble. Don't buy this junk
This razor is said to be "Possibly new".It isn't. I researched the razor and it is advertized as to have a bead / sideburn trimmer, there isn't. Very poor quality razor. I had this as a present from the wife. Not happy that I have to use a wet hand razor to tidy the sideburns after leaving the shower. Having now used this shaver daily for the past week I am pleased to say that the quality was better than I anticipated. It provides a smooth shave and does not cause any irritation.
