Only very short range of detection.
Works O.K. but short range, not the stated 7 -10 metres. I would put it at about 3 metres. Not very good at detecting from the sides, O.K. in front of it. It seems to only detect at the level of the unit as I set it up to scan down, but I could only get it to work effectively level at the height of the unit. Remotes work O.K. Functions properly.
Using this in a garden shed. Looks to be working as it should. Easy installation, two screws to fix the bracket. The alarm unit clips onto the bracket. It's not very tight fit and if not static and left alone will remain in place. Batteries pre installed in both remotes. 4 x AA batteries neded to power the main unit. It's a shame there's no external power option. No instructions were supplied. Fairly straightforward operation and fit though. Arm using a remote, green l.e.d. illuminates for a few seconds then goes out. Any motion detected, the left hand red l.e.d. illuminates. Does not alarm immediately, it would seem that continuous movment triggers the alarm. Disarm and silence using the remote. It's a very loud and piercing alarm too. Does the job
Good value for money, the plastic is a little cheep, but if works as if should do. The two remote controls are infrared line of sight and the range is a bit limited so you cannot set it or unset it after closing the door.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great price for effective protection
