Very capable
I’ve always bought Fiskars tools for design and quality, and this is no exception. The common ‘Teflon’ coating on the surface of the axe reduces sticking significantly. Comes with a protective clip on head guard. The shaft is hollow, which I didn’t expect, but not to the detriment of its performance. Very nice balance, right weight for splitting trunks up to 16” diameter and depth!

Comfortable Well Balanced and Requires Minimal Effort
I have only used a few times but it splits logs with ease saving time and effort. The axe is well balanced and comfortable in the hands, meaning that much less effort is necessary than with cheaper axes. It is well finished with a durable surface and the scabbard keeps it safe both during storage and when moving around with the axe

Best splitting axe in the market
Took me a while to complete the purchase, as had been using a maul up until then! Wish I had bought this axe earlier. It slices through wood like butter and the weight distribution and balance from the handle to the blade itself is back saving! Wouldn’t think twice to recommend.
