What a projector
Listen. If you are looking at this projector and considering buying it for gaming/films, in short, buy it. Have owned a couple of projectors before this one (dell 1610hd and optoma uhl55) and this is by far and away the best. If they ever make this as a ultra short throw that can sit 30cm from the wall then I may consider replacing. Specifically on movies, there are a number of settings to switch on things like movie mode or hdr etc that improve the picture quality that make a noticeable difference. It's great to pair with a PC and netflix, nowtv and amazon etc. On Gaming. Now if you have tried to find a projector for gaming and specifically playing competitively, you'll be aware that input lag is a key factor to consider before any purchase. The lowest input lag on a projector ever recorded is around 16ms, which, is the response level on this projector. So best in class available. The picture using gaming mode and running 1080p at 240hz refresh rate (this refresh rate is not available on any other projector at the time of writing this review) is very smooth and handles fast motion really well. Excellent projector. Used to replace a Sony hw40es and the pic quality from this is far better. 4k works a treat as long as you have the correct cables and your air can handle 4k 60hz. Great purchase
