It does what you need but it’s not exactly slick about it.
It will cut a worktop join ok but I had standard length cutters and to make it cut deep enough I had to cut off the plastic dust covers round the pillars! Excellent value for money.
I read a few reviews about this that were negative about the plunge depth. They're true; for real depth you need an extension bit. This is less than £10. You'll be lucky to get a single router bit for that money. As everything else about this router is awesome, just add £10 to the price you're going to pay for the router and you end up with a top notch router with excellent power, reliability, adaptability and usability, for very little money. With the extension bit it'll now have excellent plunge depth too. I'd buy this again in a heart beat.
