Was sent fast...received to Canada safe and sound. No issues what so ever. Yes it's a bit of a cost BUT it's so worth it to have that light while working in dim surrounding that are not 100% or sunny. Yes, you have to buy overseas,...that's ok at least you can get one. Well built saw
I checked into several different miter saws. I finally decided to buy this to DeWalt 10in sliding saw. It was a bit more costly than some of the other saws I had looked at. I have to say that I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and the saws performance. Fits DW708
Dewalt apparently stopped making replacement motors for their older model saws just about the time they are wearing out. This motor does bolt right on the DW708, however the wiring harness is short & you will have to extend two of the wires. It shipped promptly & was well packed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works Even In Indirect Sunlight
I was afraid that this LED cutting line system would not work well outdoors as that is where I do most of my board cutting. However, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that even in indirect sunlight it performed excellently. It may even work in direct sunlight but I didn't try it. Even if it doesn't work well under direct sunlight you could shade it with your hand or body to make it work.
