Bleeds the brakes your right foot can't

Really does make bleeding easy, I had totally failed to bleed the brakes after replacing the master cylinder; 10 minutes with this gadget, & all is well. My only criticisms: 1. After the job, the reservoir will be over-full. A plastic pipette would be handy to reduce the level to the mark. 2. Once you have used it, it will drip brake fluid, & cannot be stored in its original cardboard box. Needs a custom tupperware type box for storage.

    Poor quality materials

Bought new in 2016. I tried to use it once at about 15 psi. The clip-on air chuck was junk and leaked so the tire went flat before you could bleed one wheel. It was also leaking around the cap so I figured that I needed to check the gasket. I bought a screw-on shrader connector. That cured my tire valve problem but while testing, the large container for the brake fluid has a pinhole in it. I contacted Gunson and they can special order one for about $40 with shipping. Cheaper to buy a new one. Great idea but they are using junk materials to put them together. Too bad.

  • OK but Problems

Trying to use the easy bleed proved anything but easy because I could not get a good seal on the master cylinder of a 1970's Triumph car with a Girling master cylinder. Despite the Gunson cap fitting, but rather loosely it would not stop the air leaking. I think that the rubber seal is too hard and despite screwing it down as hard as possible air still escaped from the cap top. In the end I managed to solve the problem by winding a lot of cling film around the lip of the master cylinder. It was a job that should have taken 3o mins and ended up taking nearly two hours and a load of frustration.

  • flexible and simple

this product is easy to use for one person brake or clutch bleeding jobs, easy enough to reconnect a longer tube if needed to be adapted, the main parts are the oil bottle the schraeder connector and master cylinder caps and catch bottle ,only clear plastic tube left in product which makes it great for customiseing the tube lengths to suit the users needs.

  • "Makes brake bleeding air proof"

This is a direct replacement for the same item (only with plastic instead of metal tops) I have been using for some 40 years, how's that for reliability. It is so easy to bleed brakes and hydraulic clutches with this tool. I have just used the new one after changing flexible and solid brake pipes on a VW D4 and the results are perfect as only DOT 4 can get in and no air.

  • Quick & Easy.

Excellent quality item. More robust than I thought it would be & came with loads of parts to cover most sizes of reservoir cap you'll come across. Bled the brakes first time where in the past I'd struggled to get a decent pedal on this car by manually pumping the fluid through so well worth the price in my opinion.

  • A simple tool, but effective.

I bought this as my aged Saab 900 needed its clutch bled. Comments on forums suggested that whilst you could gravity bleed it, you will be there for ages and it might not work. Pressure bleeding was the way to go. When I read the simple instructions, it worked a charm! Even on a car that was 29 years old, one of the adaptor caps was the right size and thread for the brake fluid reservoir (shared with the clutch). Drop the pressure from the spare tyre to about 10psi, and attach the hoses, it really was easy. No more, getting the 'other half'/child/passer by the pump the brakes/clutch, whilst you work like a crazy fool on the bleed nipples. The only downside is that I tried to bleed the brakes on my 2002 Volvo V40. The reservoir cap for the Volvo is massive (circa 60mm) and there isn't an adaptor for that size. If that happens to you, get a replacement cap from a motor factors or scrap yard, and drill a hole through it (instructions for the size of hole are in the unit instructions) and fit the barb fitting from one of the other adaptors with washers each side.

  • fast easy and good value

It was easy to use on my own with great result on my car with abs fitted ( I tried my old bleed kit that does not use pressure and it failed to work). It saved me an expensive tow to the garage and a hefty garage bill to bleed my brakes.

  • Gunsons Ezibleed brake and clutch kit

I have used one of these kits before, get the air pressure correct, not over pressure and it makes the job extremely easy, no assistance needed (pedal up..down..up remember) remember to top-up the tank and your done.

  • Adaptable

A pressure bleeder is the best solution for difficult to bleed brakes and clutch. In this case, I adapted it for motorcycle brakes. Even old style motorcycle brakes can use it if a second hand master cylinder is obtained. I drilled the metal cap and fitted the pressure hose connection. It did leak some fluid but I used absorbent paper to ensure none went on the bike. For more mundane use, it is a good one-man method for car brakes and clutch. It is simple and reliable to use.
