Nice and tidy
Nice mail catcher. Works really well and easy to unzip (brown version) to get mail out. Would recommend these as I was more impressed with quality and ease of use as I bought this for elderly neighbour who's cat leaves a mess at her front door and mail was getting ruined. Only 4 stars as it is a velcro attachment which sticks to the door which does make it easy to install but not sure how long this will last but you can easily get double sided tape to reapply if it does lose it's adhesivenessVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not suitable for purpose.
I bought two of these mail collectors. One for my daughter lasted one day as the post had to be forced in and the whole thing was pulled off the door by her little dog. The holes cannot be used to fix it as most modern doors are plastic and probably not hold any small screws that would be needed to fit the holes. I deliberately did not fit ours until I heard from her. Will it take dailly newspapers- I doubt it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent Quality Item - Looks Like It'll Last
My dogs love chewing letters, packages, menus and bills (the latter I don't mind so much) and I've tried cages and boxes of different designs and materials. I've found the dogs hate seeing mail coming down into the cage or into the box and they hate the noise the mail makes rattling around the cage or box. My two attack the box or the cage and chew it. I've had boxes ripped off the door and holes chewed in very thick plastic boxes. This product is a very high quality bag which fits over the letterbox and is secured with a very strongly glued velcro strip both above and below the letterbox although there are eyelets above the letterbox flap to allow you to use screws for extra peace of mind. The bag has a see through panel at the bottom which lets you see there is mail to be emptied and it has a zip to the right hand side of the bag which lets you unzip it to collect mail and zip back up for the next delivery. The dogs aren't as phased by this as its low profile, doesn't stick out too much and they can't see the letterbox and the hands coming through it as it's blacked out. I love it and I'll definitely need to get one for my mum as she would benefit from not having to bend down. I am disabled and its so refreshing to be able to get my mail from the pouch rather than having to try using these grabbers to get mail off the floor and run the risk of the dogs chewing it.

Does exactly what it states and protects my post from the dog!
My dog likes to try and pull the post from the letterbox and if it falls on the mat he'll also run off with it and shred it. This mail catcher post bag prevents this from happening. The velcro is heavy duty and sticks the bag to the door well and even when my dog is barking and pawing at the bag, he cannot get to the post inside it. It is enough to fit a large hardback book in a large cardboard envelope! This is a 2nd purchase of this bag as the first one got stained from ink cartridges that were incorrectly packaged, damaged and leaked all over the bag. It didn't alter the use but I didn't want a white bag with red ink stains on it and didn't hesitate when buying a replacement as it has become so invaluable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great letter catcher
This is great letter box catcher it fits right behind our outer door. We did have a cage one but every time you where behind the door you would catch your head or arm on it so we decided to buy one of these and I wish we had done it a long time ago. No more getting cuts and scratches. It was a very quick delivery. The bag itself is very sturdy and having the zip it makes it easy to retrieve your lettered. A great idea that works very well
I bought this for my 98 year old Mother who still lives independently at home but struggles with some tasks. She uses a walker to get about and is none too stable. Picking up the mail and newspaper was difficult and had the potential to cause her to fall. Letters could be retrieved with her grab stick but the newspaper came up a page at a time. Its a simple task but it was causing her stress and anxiety. Her front door had a wall with radiator against it when opened and a basket would not fit. This letter bag post catcher looked ideal. I screwed it to the door and also used the Velcro to position it. Even the heavy weekend papers land in the bag and are easily retrieved by Mum. She says its a wonderful idea and I've earned some kudos points on this one.
