OK but …..
Good points - very good value and easy to fit to spool Not so good points - doesn’t seem very durable when used on tougher undergrowth or very long grass eg struggles to cut large dock leaves and in long grass ( over 12” high) it doesn’t cut cleanly, resulting in the grass wrapping around the spool. Glad I got such a large roll as it doesn’t last long in use. Occasionally welds itself on the spool due to the heat generated, which requires you to stop and pull it apart manually. Disappointed
Having read the reviews of the product I was expecting great things from this wire but upon use very disapointed. The square profile of the wire does not cut as well as a circular wire in my opinion and breakage was increased compared to my previous wire , problem I have now is that I have 250mts to get rid of but shouldn't take that long with breakage rates . I think the wire will be perfect for long grass cutting but if you have any detail work to do like edging or next to a object ie: wall/fence look elsewhere.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
