Excellent thermal characteristics, but very small quantity
Apply with care! It performs line Coollaboratory Liquid Pro and these tiny metal balls are easy to lost and they are conductive! Beware of possible short circuit. Performs very well in terms of cooling efficiency, but very small quantity in one syringe! Mine was sufficient only for 1 installation and i covered only CPU lid (LGA 1366), not water block! Thermal Grizzly cpu paste
When I first tried to apply the paste all it did was go into little beads like mercury does and I didnt understand why and nearly threw it away !! It wasn't until I watched some you tube videos that I tried again & found out that you have to wipe it on back and forth with a cotton bud (supplied bud has no fibres) several times and it slowly starts to look like a wet paint, once this has been done it looks like it covers really good and dropped my temperatures a good few degrees. Now i'm wondering if I should dare to use it to replace the intel paste used on the Ivy bridge chips but I think I'll wait because I don't need to yet. Best thermal compound you'll ever use !
Thermal Grizly Conductonaut is one of the best performing thermal compounds around. The thermal improvements are incredible compared to other, silver, ceramic, diamond of whatever based compounds. Do note that you need to be extremely carefull with this. It conducts heat as well as electricity so if the thermal compound touches other contacts, you might end up shorting your component. I used this on my delided core i7 7700k with improvements of about 9 ~ 12°c and on my GTX1080Ti with improvements of about 9 ~ 10 °c It's a little hard to apply but once applied, it's the best compound you'll ever use. Love the thermal grizzly great compound a little goes far, as I'm an engineer, I faced my CPU to get rid of any discrepancy of being parallel, I also delidded my CPU to out the compound between the die and heat spreader also. best cooling compound available
this thing does wonders when applied properly and used with quality heatsinks/heatpipes. on my old HP notebook (turion zm87) it didn't made much difference because of bad thermal system design. just applied it to a dell gaming machine (fx9830p) and the temps dropped from 60-80°C (peak 95°C) to 40-50°C (peak 55°C) when compiling openwrt with 5 parallel jobs!! just a couple of days earlier i repasted this laptop with chinese crap that comes in small plastic bag as a gift with CPUs bought from ebay and noticed i was getting higher temps than with stock thermal paste that was quite dried out after 7 months of intensive laptop use. both fans were spinning at max most of the time during the compilation process, and now they both switch between off and lowest speed!!! the temps are even lower than with stock paste when i first got the laptop and both fans turn on less frequently. really amazing product! update: played UT3 last night for several hours with max video settings, both CPU and GPU temps remained below 60°C!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
