Perfect commuter bike????
Electric bike costs are just crazy!!!! I wanted an affordable electric bike to allow me to cycle to work but not get too hot & sweaty in the process as changing facilities at work are limited due to Covid-19. I also wanted it to be low maintenance but above all for it to be affordable. Enter the Gtech eBike Sport which fits all my needs. With its Gates belt drive, robust puncture resistant tyres and no gears it means it is almost maintenance free. The motor does just enough to push you along and take the sting out of hills but you can still get a bit of a workout if you want. If you want the motor to do the work you just pedal a bit 'softer'. The motor is really quiet and the bike freewheels well the fixed gear is well chosen. The range on the battery is as advertised. This was a refurbished product and the one I received (2 days postage) was well packaged in a GTech box and was obviously new & unused but had several paint chips which had been touched up. These are hardly noticeable and no doubt I will add some more as this will be a working bike. It's a great bike at a fraction of the cost or other offers which means I won't be so concerned when I leave it locked outside at work.

Bought the smaller one for my wife and she absolutely loves it. I have the slightly larger frame and these bikes are solid, reliable, stylish and fun to ride and won’t break the bank compared to other brands. It could definitely do with a switch on the handle bars to turn the electric side of the bike on/off as it’s a little awkward to keep reaching down to the battery whilst riding but you get used to it and shouldn’t be a deal breaker. Single Speed Belt Driven Electric Bike. Less Is More.
This is a great bike, not the fastest, but get's the job done. I was drawn to the single speed belt drive system. I am in a hilly area, but have always liked single speed.
