    Hornby wire tags

    This product is ideal for connecting wires to oo gauge model railway motors. Also if you want to use them as temporary connection tags to test circuits. You can also use them as crimped solder less connections. They do the job they are designed for.

    Essential spares when buying "used" loco...

    Essential spares when buying "used" locomotives. Sometimes the interface between the spade and the wire or spade and chassis are found to be on their last legs, the wire or spade about to break. Removing the old one for reuse, in the case of the wire about to break, is nigh on impossible. The original turned brass "plugs" by Triang had the same problem. All part of the challenge to keep the trains running.

    Replacement Ringfield Motor Faceplate spade connectors

    These do away with soldered wires on the ringfield terminals which Hornby seem to favour on later motors. Good solid contact on the faceplate may have to squeeze the spade ever so slightly to get a tight fit but that is fine
