Converts HDMI to VGA output
I purchased this converter so I could run my Android TV Box with a HDMI output on a monitor which only had a VGA input. It did a perfect job and gave a good picture on the monitor, I can highly recommend this item for this sort of requirement I had to connect the sound separately as the VGA connector has no audio connections. Worked 50% of the time.
Bought this unit to add a second screen to my pc. First time I plugged it in and switched on, worked no problems, and I was made up. The second time I used the pc, the screen stayed blank and no signal was picked up. Switched off, unplugged and retried and it worked again.. hiccup I thought. The 4th time switching on, I had the same problem and no signal. Went for a dvi to vga converter instead which so far has worked perfectly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Product, Cheap, 1080p Output! 👍🏻
I was a little sceptical when buying this, however it arrived quickly and worked perfectly when plugged in. It is 1080p compatible, but is dependant on your monitor/tv and the quality of your VGA cable. But, the genuine build quality of the product isn’t very good, and could become loose or broken if misused. On the whole, cheap, 1080p, arrived quickly, works fine!

Does exactly what it says it will... HOWEVER, had I noticed that there is also a variant on this type of thing that provides audio out in addition to the video conversion I would have bought that version instead as I also need the audio out. Worked for me connection Raspberry Pi to old InFocus Projector
I have an old InFocus projector with old inputs - RCA and a strange 'Computer' input which a standard DVI cable wouldn't fit. The only place I could get a compatible hdmi cable was from America at some outrageous price! Luckily I had a Computer - VGA cable ... So got one of these adapters to link up to my Raspberry Pi HDMI. Didn't know if it would work but was perfect right from the start! Also works with a Dell laptop running Ubuntu. Great item for me at a great price.

This converter works fine from my pc graphics card to VGA monitor input. Used on an NEC 24 inch wide Screen monitor 1920 x 1200.
