Excellent radio
I already own several Roberts radios, so when looking to purchase a new radio for our newly fitted kitchen I decided to go for a radio with access to internet radio. Great Internet Radio
This is an excellent radio with all available DAB, DAB+ and FM radio stations broadcasting 'over the air' being readily receivable easily AND by using the Internet Radio facility it is possible to listen to thousands of radio stations from all over the world as very nearly EVERY radio station anywhere in the World has an 'on-line' facility. Compact, versatile and portable
We already have a Roberts radio, which is excellent, but we wanted one to take into the garden, the bathroom etc, so we bought this model which has the option of battery power. Although the sound is not as good as that of our Stream 93i, it is still good. We bought the recommended rechargeable AA batteries and it works well on battery power. (Roberts recommend 2500 mah). Like other reviewer I also have problems with radio connecting to wifi have pure internet radio for years no problem at all so would give it 3 stars
Wanted this model for ages very happy with purchase dab / Fm / internet radio if you buy 6 AA rechargeable batteries the radio charges them up (have to select option in battery compartment) use sleep function in bedroom ... recommendedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Easy to use
I have a couple of other Internet radios and found this easier to use. It has five presets on each band, which is enough. Particularly impressive was the very short time between switching on (in mains power mode) and hearing the Internet station. This radio has a good sound quality, very important when you have a hearing problem, clarity is very good. Easy to set up, having installed rechargeable batteries this is the perfect go anywhere radio.
