Good little buy
Any one looking for some good value lathe tools look no further They are well made and cut well may if the section of the square is a bit small but just packing them up for larger machines and they work well so much so I just bought a second set as I do not alway treat them well can be re sharpened or even re shaped for a special job might even get another set as these are too good to miss.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A bit rough but cheap enough to experiment with.
With Carbide Tipped tools you get what you pay for and these are a very cheap set of 9 tools that will cover a range of different jobs. Before they can be used however they need to be cleaned up on a grinding wheel to ensure the base stock is not going to foul the work, and the carbide tips touched up on a green grinding wheel. I use HSS tools but wanted to try Carbide tipped just to get an idea of the difference. This set is cheap enough to experiment with and will not break the bank. It will be interesting to see how they perform on the 7 x 14 mini lathe, I don't expect too much..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
