Tiny leak on new basketball seam.
Had a brand new Wilson Basketball that had a very tiny leak in the seam( looked like a factory defect). Put the product in after fully deflating the ball and pumped it back up. Played aggressively with it for about 5 minutes and a week later it still hasn’t leaked. I was really my only option to do since it was in a seam, so I’m glad I tried it. Sports Ball Doctor might seal the leak, then again it may not.
You have to follow the instructions implicitly for this item to work. If you do not bounce the ball rigorously for the two and three minutes the sealant will not spread throughout the inside of the ball, thus, you will still have a leak or a slower leak than you had before. I am ambivalent on this product. I wish the sealant was of a better or superior quality so when you follow the instructions you are guaranteed absolute results. I also wish our local sporting goods store at the local mall would carry this product so I would not have to mail off for it and wait a week for delivery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
